GMP - HND - GMP

Seoul Gimpo to Tokyo Haneda is one of our hardest flights, the flight it self is ok, but it's all the bus rides before we get to the aircraft at Gimpo which is time consuming.

First we have to take the bus to the HQ at Gimpo, then bus again to the international terminal.

To Haneda it is about 1.45 min in normal strong tailwind.

Operation into Haneda is little more complex than normal, because of numerous runway changes.
Today we ended up doing a LDA approach to RWY 23.

Dinner at the aircraft and then a short bus ride to the hotel in terminal 2. A small cell with only japanese TV...
Managed to sleep 5 hours, then time fore breakfast, which was crap, back to the aircraft and T/O to Seoul.

Big confusion, aircraft on remote stand and nobody knows whether we will take bus to the aircraft or wait at the gate...

Firstofficer Han and the Purser

3 of the girls went with us to the hotel, the rest of the crew continued to Seoul on a charter.

Breakfast at the hotel after 5 hours sleep. Crap food...

Heading back to the aircraft

Tow truck

Walkaround

Leaving the gate

During push back we passed this brand new B787, looked better than I expected

On the taxiway to 34R

Leaving Tokyo behind us

I managed to break the seatbelt.

Arriving Seoul

Back in the office I had a meeting with the fleetmanager Safety about my diversion to London with 390 cows onboard.
A short brief of what has been done and the case was closed. A clap on the shoulder and job well done...

Stepan Niet, new man on QA.
